About Simon Says

Simon Says is a memory game based on the classic electronic toy. Each round the game flashes a sequence of coloured pads; you then have to click them back in the exact same order. Every round adds one new colour to the end of the sequence, and the playback gradually speeds up, so it gets progressively harder to remember. One wrong tap ends the game. Your best round is saved locally on your device so you can try to beat it.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Simon Says?

Watch the sequence of colours that light up, then click the pads to repeat it in the same order. Each round adds one more colour, so the sequence gets longer and harder to remember.

How do you lose?

You lose the moment you click the wrong colour. Your score is the length of the longest sequence you repeated correctly.

Does it get faster?

The playback speeds up slightly as your sequence grows, which adds to the challenge as you progress.

Is Simon Says free?

Yes. It runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up, and your best round is saved locally on your device.
